Message Yes, but again it is only good for 12 months and it in itself does not protect your property rights, but it does give you a start date. Once the 12 months is up then you must file all the necessities for the non-provisional which at that point will get very costly. It would allow you to watch the market in that twelve month period and see if it is viable to pursue the non-provisional patent, of course only in America though.
